PIETERMARITZBURG – The family of Griffiths Mxenge wants to know the truth about his murder, even though it will be painful.

The anti-apartheid activist and lawyer was abducted and assassinated in 1981.

The KwaZulu-Natal Division of the High Court sitting in Pietermaritzburg has adjourned the inquest into his death. This is because some summoned witnesses – who were working for the apartheid regime’s police unit – have asked for legal representation during the inquest.
