The organisers said on Tuesday that eight international star performers, including Lukas Graham, Judith Hill, Zaz, and Mario Biondi, will be featured at this year’s Paloznak Jazzpiknik Festival, which will be held in a village north of Lake Balaton between July 31 and August 2.
The boutique music festival, Paloznak Jazzpiknik, will be held for the 13th time this year.
Founder and festival director Orsolya Valde told a press conference that Jazzpiknik remains a unique event in Hungary because it invites performers who are rarely or not at all included in other Hungarian festival lineups.
The other star performers on the grand stage this year will be the Lehmanns Brothers, Kennedy Administration, the Earth, Wind & Fire Experience and Deladap.
In addition to numerous Hungarian jazz performers, DJ sets will be presented by Palo Canto feat. Nove Soma, Andrew J & Dan von Schulz, Get Funky and the Groove Generation.
Fifteen local winemakers will present their products at a new venue dubbed the Winefashion Courtyard where the programme will also include fashion shows.
As each year, special events will be offered during the day for children, cooperation will continue with several charity organisations, and waste management will be handled in an environmentally friendly way, the organisers said.
