The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) has published its March 2025 ranking of air transport service providers and airports, based on traveler complaints submitted to the authority.

A total of 965 complaints were filed against airlines in March. Flynas topped the airline rankings with the fewest complaints—19 per 100,000 passengers—and a 100% on-time resolution rate. Saudia followed with the same complaint rate but a 99% resolution rate, while Flyadeal came third with 30 complaints per 100,000 passengers and a 100% resolution rate. The most common issues reported involved baggage handling, ticketing, and boarding services.

Moreover, among international airports serving over six million passengers annually, King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh had the lowest complaint rate—just 1 per 100,000 passengers—with only 16 total complaints, all resolved on time.

In the category of international airports handling fewer than six million passengers, Taif International Airport led with one complaint per 100,000 passengers and a 100% resolution rate. Among domestic airports, Arar Airport ranked best, also with a single complaint and a 100% resolution rate.

GACA stated that the monthly ranking aims to offer transparency, inform travelers about service quality, and foster healthy competition among providers. To further support service improvements, GACA has issued a guidebook for airports outlining complaint-handling procedures and service standards. Additionally, national airline and ground staff are being trained in customer protection regulations through specialized workshops.
