King Salman has instructed Saudi officials to help Iranian Hajj pilgrims who are currently stuck in the country after Iranian airspace was temporarily closed.

This important step was taken based on a support plan shared by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. According to the plan, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has been given the responsibility to make sure that all Iranian pilgrims receive proper care and support until it is safe for them to travel back home.

This act of kindness shows Saudi Arabia’s strong dedication to serving all Hajj pilgrims, no matter their nationality.

This year, more than 1.6 million Muslims from around the world came to Saudi Arabia to perform the Hajj pilgrimage. Among them were tens of thousands of pilgrims from Iran.

Even though there are political tensions in the region, Saudi Arabia has kept its focus on the health, safety, and unity of all pilgrims. The goal remains to ensure that everyone who comes for Hajj is treated with care and respect, and that the spirit of peace and togetherness continues throughout the holy journey.
