To enhance the operational efficiency of Federal Road Safety Corps, LASG has injected 2 trucks into FRSC fleet.
The two operational vehicles comprises one Compressed Natural Gas (CNG)-powered vehicle and one Petrol-powered vehicle.
FRSC assured that the vehicles will be deployed strategically and maintained effectively to achieve the goal of safer motoring within the state.
The Lagos State Government, through the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF), has handed over two operational vehicles to the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) to help to promote road safety and enhance operational capacity of the Agency in the State.
The operational vehicles were officially handed over to the Sector Commander, Corps Commander Kehinde G. Hamzat, by the Director of LSSTF, Mr. Lewis Adegbola, on behalf of the Executive Secretary/CEO of LSSTF, Dr. Abdurrazaq Balogun, on April 17, 2025.
Receiving the operational vehicles from the representative of the Fund’s Executive Secretary, Corps Commander Kehinde G. Hamzat assured that the vehicles will be deployed strategically and maintained effectively to achieve the goal of safer motoring within the state.
The two operational vehicles are the latest range from Mikano Motors. They comprises one Compressed Natural Gas (CNG)-powered vehicle and one petrol-powered vehicle.
“This strategic support from the Lagos State Government, through the LSSTF, marks another milestone for a safer and more secured Lagos,” FRSC said in a statement.
